Lee Enterprises Presentation Will Be Webcast

DAVENPORT, Iowa--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 9, 2002--Lee Enterprises, Incorporated (NYSE:LEE), will provide an audio webcast of its presentation Wednesday, Dec. 11, at the Credit Suisse First Boston Media Week conference in New York.

The one-hour presentation is scheduled for 10 a.m. Eastern Standard Time.

Instructions for accessing the webcast will be posted at www.lee.net. To hear it live, please connect at least 10 minutes early. Replays of the webcast will be available at www.lee.net beginning later Wednesday.

Lee's speakers will be Mary Junck, chairman and chief executive officer; James Hopson, vice president-publishing; and Carl Schmidt, vice president, chief financial officer and treasurer.

The presentation will include a review of Lee's fiscal 2002 results and forward-looking information about fiscal 2003. A news release will be issued covering the remarks.
